o more guessing if your belt is in spec. Just hold this gauge up to the tapered underside of the belt. If the top of the belt is even with or below the top of the gauge, your belt is at or below the minimum belt width specification and should be replaced. If it’s above the top of the gauge, your belt is above the minimum belt width. Width should be checked in several locations on the belt.
